What it is on the research record
Tesamorelin is a stabilised analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone. In 2010 the US FDA approved a branded tesamorelin medicine for one narrow use: reducing excess abdominal fat in people with HIV-associated lipodystrophy.
That approval covered a specific product under medical supervision. A research vial is not that product.
