Peptide calculator: reconstitution and syringe units
Enter how much is in the vial and how much bacteriostatic water you add. The calculator gives you the concentration and how many units on a U-100 insulin syringe hold a given amount. It is arithmetic only and does not suggest amounts.
Reconstitution calculator
Works out concentration and U-100 insulin syringe units from the amount in the vial and the water you add. Enter your own figures; this tool does not suggest amounts.
- Concentration
- 10 mg per ml
- Each syringe unit
- 0.1 mg (100 mcg)
Arithmetic only, for laboratory measurement. It is not advice on what or how much to use.
How the maths works
- Concentration = milligrams in the vial ÷ millilitres of water added.
- Milligrams per unit = concentration ÷ 100, because a U-100 syringe has 100 units per millilitre.
- Units to draw = the amount you want to measure ÷ milligrams per unit.
Always double-check the vial size on the label and on the certificate. A calculation is only as good as the figure you start with.
Syringe sizes
Insulin syringes in the Philippines are commonly sold as 0.3 ml (30 units), 0.5 ml (50 units) and 1 ml (100 units). All are U-100, so one unit is always one hundredth of a millilitre. If a calculation comes out above the syringe's capacity, the calculator flags it.
Mixing a vial
Let the vial and water reach room temperature, wipe both stoppers with an alcohol pad, and let the water run slowly down the inside of the glass rather than onto the powder. Swirl gently; do not shake. Mixed vials belong in the fridge. See storing peptides in Philippine heat.
Primara Labs also has its own calculator at primaralabs.com. Kit contents read 28 September 2026.
Questions
How do you calculate peptide concentration?
Divide the milligrams in the vial by the millilitres of bacteriostatic water you add. A vial with 10 mg mixed with 2 ml of water is 5 mg per ml.
How many units are in 1 ml on an insulin syringe?
A U-100 insulin syringe holds 100 units per millilitre, so a 0.5 ml syringe has 50 unit marks and a 1 ml syringe has 100.
Why does the amount of water matter?
More water means a lower concentration, so each unit mark holds less compound. That makes small amounts easier to measure but uses more syringe volume.
Does this calculator tell me how much to use?
No. It only converts figures you enter. It does not recommend any amount. If you are thinking about any compound for your own health, speak to a licensed physician.
What water should peptides be mixed with?
Bacteriostatic water is the usual choice for multi-use vials. Primara Labs includes 3ml bacteriostatic water, 10 insulin syringes, 10 alcohol pads and a reconstitution syringe with every vial order, and sells extra 3ml vials at ₱270.
Not medical or legal advice. Peptides sold as research compounds are not registered medicines with FDA Philippines and are not approved for use in people. If you are thinking about any compound for your own health, speak to a licensed physician first.
